Adventure Kids

Our mission is to partner with parents to help kids become devoted followers of Jesus.

We do this through our kids ministry, Adventure Kids, on Sunday mornings and small groups starting at the age of three! We want every kid to have a safe space to experience Jesus, make new friends, and dig into the Bible! We have Adventure Kids services every Sunday at 9am, 10:45am and 12:30pm for kids six weeks old - 5th grade. We also have an amazing ministry called Summit specifically for kids with special needs!

youth Student Ministries

Helping students become devoted follower of Jesus.

We believe that young people can know their purpose and identity in Jesus as they walk through their middle and high school years into adulthood. At GFC Youth we believe in partnering with parents to see their student become a devoted follower of Jesus. We do this through worship services and small groups.

Small groups are where every voice is heard and real relationships are developed. Our student ministry has a small group just for your student! We have small groups based on grade and gender.

GFC Youth meets every Wednesday from 7pm to 8:30pm. The doors of the building open at 6pm.

Young Adults

This ministry at Gateway Fellowship is one that reaches those who aren’t in community between the ages of 18 and 29 years old.  The heart of our church is to see everyone belong, especially those within this age range.

GFC Young Adults meets on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month from 7pm to 8:30pm. On the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month, there are Young Adult Small Groups for you to belong to. For more information contact Young Adults Pastor, Jacob Carter at jcarter@mygateway.tv

Small Groups

At GFC, the Lord has given us a vibrant fellowship that gets to meet, worship and hear the word of God together on Sundays. However, the fellowship is able grow deep and have tight knit relationships through GFC Small Groups. In a Small Group, you’ll be able to spend time with like minded believers, share struggles and grow deeper in your faith. Men, women, couples, singles, old and young…there’s a Small Group for you!

Tuesday Night Recovery Ministries

Re|engage

Re|engage is the place for marriages! Whether you are on the verge of divorce or you just need a “tune-up,” Re|engage is for you. GFC has been able to help dozens of couples work through their issues and strengthen their marriages for the glory of God.

Merge is GFC’s place for pre-marital counseling. At Merge you will learn crucial tips for a godly marriage from Jeff & Darlene Stevens, a wonderful couple who has been married nearly 50 years

Re:generation is a place for healing. Whether you suffer from depression, addiction or even anger, God sees your brokenness. This is a 12-week curriculum where you will hear testimonies from those who have walked this path before, excellent teaching through the 12 steps and participate in a small group where you will have the opportunity to talk through your journey.

Trauma Reboot

Trauma Reboot is your place to help heal and process trauma - whether it’s from military service, first responder, emotional, verbal, physical or sexual trauma - TR is designed to help. This 12-week curriculum will help you see your trauma how God sees it, and give you the opportunity to talk in a group setting and here testimonies from experts who have been through what you are going through.

Missions

We desire to make a difference in San Antonio and around the world. 10% of General Fund giving supports over 70 missionaries including many who have been sent from GFC. We also give above and beyond to Kingdom Builders. It is missions mutual fund of projects that advance God’s Kingdom beyond our church that include local partners in San Antonio ministering to the broken and poor and church planting efforts.
